Born in New Jersey, raised in Georgia, she is currently making an impact in Kansas City. Aisha also holds a degree in Fashion Design, a field that ignited her love for creating new things and solving complex challenges through thoughtful design.
Aisha is a leader in both the corporate and not-for-profit spaces. As the CEO of Rhythm Cosmetics, Aisha successfully built a brand that celebrates individuality and empowers confidence through high-quality, innovative natural hair care products for children and women as well as makeup. She also serves as the founder and president of The Walker Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting children in underserved communities and fostering impactful change by providing hair services, hair education and training and most importantly hair confidence for the youth!
Aisha is a champion of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Her dedication to service extends beyond her business ventures. She is a proud member of the PFAC (Patient and Family Advisory Council) and NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) teams at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Aisha also actively contributes to the JEDI team at Big Brothers Big Sisters-Kansas City. Aisha is committed to creating positive change with these organizations to impact the lives for those who need it the most.
Motivated by her identities as a wife and mother to three incredible boys, Aisha’s inspiration is fueled by her family. She aims to leave a a legacy of resilience, creativity, and service. Whether she’s sewing, spending time with her loved ones, or mentoring others, Aisha embodies a spirit of collaboration and innovation that sets her apart.
