Aisha Styles Walker is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Walker Foundation, a trailblazing nonprofit dedicated to empowering children and families affected by medical hair loss, trauma, and systemic inequities. With nearly a decade of professional experience spanning the beauty industry and grassroots community work, Aisha combines entrepreneurial skill with a deep commitment to advancing health equity and youth well-being.

Inspired by her mother’s struggle with alopecia, Aisha transformed personal adversity into a community mission. Since founding The Walker Foundation, she has led the organization to serve more than 1,000 children and families, distributing free custom wigs and hair care services to youth impacted by alopecia, cancer, lupus, foster care, and homelessness. Through signature initiatives such as the “Wiggy Love” program and the annual Walker Foundation Kids Hair Fair, she provides trauma-informed support that restores confidence, dignity, and hope. Under Aisha’s leadership, the foundation has built strategic partnerships with hospitals, schools, and social service agencies throughout the Kansas City region.

Aisha’s expertise in program development, fundraising, and cross-sector collaboration has earned her multiple awards and invitations to speak at national conferences on health equity and community inclusion. As founder and CEO of The Beauty Empire and Rhythm Luxury Hair Care Products, she has demonstrated a strong track record in sustainable enterprise, skills she brings to nonprofit management. Aisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the International Academy of Design and has completed additional training in nonprofit leadership.
